1) Wasn't another WW2 shooter

2) Two words : propriatory technology. What I don't like about peopel licensing engines is that those who licesne it don't know how to use the engine to it's fullest potential. Case in point? Unreal 3. All games runningon it (besides Epic's in house titles) have had "dirty" textures.

And promises of sexual favors by the devs...

They have yet to deliver!

Well i first heard of the title while browsing the infiltraton forums, so i've always had a intrest in FPS games that are more simulation based. The more that i read about the game, and team, the more intrested i got. An upstart company, with it's own impressive engine, a decidedly simulation style aproach with adjustable realism & difficulty settings, the war studio, a community forum where the devs actually interact with the fans. It's a rare find these days.

1. 200+ of arms from different years
2. "What-If" mp-gametype possibility
3. Real ballistics on weapons
4. Real characther movements
5. The chance to realy make different mp settings for server
6. Real historical happenings
7. Following or downloadble "custom" map builder program
8. Great grafics and "sound" i hope
9. Not to much greatness on size of slots in mp-gaming, to reduce lag "max 36"
10. Alliance teams great connection to this community.

Pretty much what he said. For me though the real ballistics of weapons is the main attraction along with the sheer number of guns accurately modeled.

I am just glad to see a fps game finally come out that doesn't follow the usual cookie-cutter format that has plagued fps games for quite sometime and tries to be innovative. Also I am very glad to see there are people in the gaming industry who still have the cajones to put something like Alliance together with no guarantees. They had a great idea and followed their hearts. I salut you guys for that.

1) light engine Need I say more!
2) Guns, I personally don't know them all to well..but with the war studio I can learn.
3) Realism, Its about time someone realized bullets don't go in a straight line forever.

1) Realistic Ballistics
2) Historical Conflicts
3) Real-World Weapons
4) Hopefully it's realistic enough that it discourages the Twitch Gamers
5) I never want to see somebody teabagging a corpse again.
