I plan on doing a lot of sci fi maps :
1) Underwater city (complete with huge windows)
2) Fight above a towering city.

Will try to make a copy of the Mannerheim-line, known as the "Motti" tactical front-line. With loads of russian soldiers and Molotov-Tanks attacking the Finns frontline. Then setup the map to only be played with Molotov-Coctails, C-4 Satchels and rifles.

Yeah. I hope they use a contextual UI for the geometry editing.

I'm also hoping for a good material editor and some object prefabs.

doubt i will do anything, i never put the time in to do it.


if i did, i'd setup some old pre wwII battlefield scenarios.


trench warfare and such, with realistic gear, meaning the vast majority of people will just have a bolt action rifle and bayonet.

few pistols, few full autos.


almost ever game and scenario out there has everyone with submachineguns or everyone able to pick bazookas and sniper rifles.

i just want the majority of people to be kitted out like a rank and file soldier for general combat.

im sure i could think of some cool scenarios and such too, but my beef with most games is that rank and file infantry combat is the exception instead of the rule.

That does sound fun. I do indeed like bolt action rifles. It's ne of the reasons why I had a lot of fun with a certain WWI mod for Half-Life. Everyone wants to be a rambo though.

Heh, looks like Star Trek still doesn't get no respect these days.

I hate it how Paramount stoped with the last one and how it's only being kept alive as some amateur crap... :(

go buy RO,limited classes are standard .. so the majority of yer team is using a bolt action rifle..

i already have it, still to little standardization in most games for my taste, but yes its better than most out there already.

well im waiting for TWI to make their next game, they had a hard start, being created with a mod team with only the rights to the ue 2.5 to go on, so hopefully their next production on the ue3 will be a true realsim masterpeice.

for me RO will make a nice tidemeover till alliance comes out.
