Will there be anything like dropping your gun when you jump off a ledge, or slipping and falling down? It might get annoying but it would add to the realism factor :D

I hope not, that's kind of stupid and dropping your weapon relies way too much on other factors which I would venture to guess would be very difficult to fabricate in-game with the timelimit that the team has set for a release date.

How about shooting guns out of peoples hands? That would be cool.

That it would, which is why it's already on our todo list. However, we want to see how it playtests before we decide to actually make it a feature of the final game.

You could use Game Jackal, capture the game's profile, and then put the CD away.

you could do that in SOF 2,
if you shot a gun out of someones hand they would ether pick up the gun again, pick up a better gun, or use their own pistol.
quite good for its day

In Red Orchestra you could drop your weapon too, it was a very rare event to ever happen though.

Dropping other items would be nice too, like helmets or ..
Some info about this in Call of Duty 4..
Quote:
The source compared Call of Duty 4’s technical achievements to other games saying that while most shooters have two or three critical points on the head, Call of Duty 4 has 16, saying that you can shoot the side of an opponent’s helmet to make it spin on their head, or knock the helmet clean off. Supposedly you will even be able to shoot an enemy’s ear off.

I don't like the idea of shooting guns from peopel's hands. It's way to out here.

I mean, in an FPS game, peoplpe want to shoot each other and letting them do that would take that opportunity frrom them.

Howevder, what I would want is a more clase range sysytem where you can disrm your oponent if you are in close proximity to them (kind of like what trinity did in the Matrix wit the SPAS12 shotgun.)

Shooting the weapon out of a persons hand is quite amusing. Doing is in Red Orchestra is quite funny.

Yeah, but it will ruin the fun for most of the people.

What's the point of including over 200 wapons if you never get to fire them because they've been shot out of your hands.

It's way to gimmicky and shouldn't even be considered without rock solid net code because the really precise collision detection wil be neccesary.

If I had as many weapons as Alliance will have, I can assure you they would not be leaving my hands by puny bullets.

i think it would be kinda cool or atleast if you do it should make it rather inaccurate or make it defective depending on where you hit it. or if you hit the clip you have to reload or something

Uhm, the size of the arsenal doesn't determine the characteristics of each individual weapon...

It owuld be really irrating if you were just walking along suddenly yo ur gun flew out of your hands.

As mentioned, it would much better if you had to be close to your enemy to disarm them.

Now that I think abouty it, maybe no disarming at all would be best.

It's not that easy to hit a gun out of someones hands. It's awsome when it happens though.

Nah, I was just giving my opinion on it. Stating if I had that many guns at my disposal, I sure would not let silly bullets knock them from my grubby hands.

Well, I would because, no matter how many guns were at my disposal, I would still have to drag my lazy ass around the map looking for another one. :(
