Will there be Cold War Era conflicts like Vietnam, Afganistan, or Korea? I know you mentioned the middle east in the 70's-80's but I suspected that to be the Iran-Iraq War or 7 days War.

In the videos it shows Cuba during her revolution.

I would dare to say that many of the wars will be fought in the Cold War (1945-1990).

The war shown in the video was the Yom Kippur War.

Perhaps we'll get lucky and we'll get a nice wersion of the Korean War in there. That war is one of the lesser known wars after WW2 and it would be awesome to see a mission in North Korea. Or South, or possibly an infiltration into China...

well, because this is a russian family, i will make a prediction of conflicts
ww1, russian lines. when was the last time u saw a ww1 game besides red baron? i thought so
ww2, u gotta have one, probably russian front, i would imagine places like stalingrad. if i had to have a location tho, i always liked africa.
korea, korean side... ok, i know almost nothing about this war...
vietnam, i thought i heard something about the bay of pigs,
yam kippur, of course. probably middle eastern conflicts in general
perhaps afghanistan, iran/iraq, etc.
might be a few more that are less directly related to russia/soviet union

How about Chechnya? The Russians are still fighting a war down there.

im positive there will be a setting in Cuba, Bolivia, or the Congo

did anybody else recognize the lifting of a Che Guevara plaque type thing on a wall during the video on the homepage?

that guy HAS to be in this game. he is the Mesiah of Guerrilla Warfare and heroic revolution (which is ironic considering how much he dsiapproved of religion)

this game wouldnt be a game about rebellion and revolution without him in it.

Ive always wanted to be a mercenary in the Congo during the 70's (or was it the 60's, or 80's....)

It would be pretty interesting to work for a PMC that was operating in the Congo, and fight along side (or against ) the soldiers.

I would like to see the:

Flakland/Malvinas war of 1982.

The Iraq-Iran war (1980-88)

War of Afghanistan (1979-89)

1st Chechen war (1994-96) with maybe a nice comeback on the second Chechen war (1999-today).

I think it would make a lot of sense to have at least one level in Africa, as the game does seem to deal with conflicts involving communist movements throughout the world and the African Continent was host to many east-west proxy wars.

Its too bad they have locked the dates to the 20th-21st century. We could have had some insane British vs. Zulu battles.
