Uh, poepel who own guns are more likely to ut themselves than an intruder. Peopel just don't get attacked alot. That's a misperception on the part of the average citizen.

You are seriously the most ignorant person ever. You actually took what we said about tanks...serious?

Uh, yea? For someone that said that peoplel should be walking around with machine guns..

People don't get attacked a lot? How do you explain over 2 million Americans using firearms to defend themselves (successfully) every year? People DO get attacked. People DO get mugged. Be at the wrong place at the wrong time and you'll be attacked. It's a unfortunate fact.

Also, what is the probably with walking around with guns? Do you realize you've seen people that had concealed carry licenses and were carrying legally? They are all around you, yet you obviously don't know they are.

Gun owners are more likely to avoid a confrontation than anyone else. Mainly because they know if they escalate the situation, they will get a free pass to jail very quickly. The laws regarding concealed carry (or open carry, depending on the state) and the application of self-defense are clear and to the letter of the law. If someone pushes you and you draw a gun, that's called "brandishing." It's a sure-fire way to get a few months to a year in jail and losing, forever, your right to firearm ownership.

Don't assume. Educate yourself.
